14 Love Lane is a 3 bedroom cottage (sleeping 5) just through the garden wall from 7 Longport and offers the choice of self-catering or Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

The early-Victorian cottage has been recently restored and decorated in a fresh modern style. The colours are soft; the furniture is an eclectic mix of new and old; the beds are comfortable with luxury linen and there is original art on the walls.

(There is a launderette about 8 minutes walk away.)

The cottage has Wi-Fi access throughout and satelliteTV.

Upstairs on the first floor is a large double bedroom with a king-size bed, a single room overlooking the courtyard garden and a modern family bathroom. Then up another (steep) flight of stairs is an attic bedroom with twin beds. (Please note this room is not suitable for tall guests because the headroom is very limited.) All the mattresses are handmade and the bed linen is white cotton.

There is a pretty courtyard garden with wisteria and magnolia, and garden furniture and a barbecue for you to use. Parking in Canterbury can be difficult but there is a garage for guests’ use during their stay. Otherwise there is voucher parking in a local carpark about 150m away.

We hope you will find it a special place for you: for a romantic city break, a family visit to Canterbury or even a relaxing home from home if you are in the city on business.
